The Paper That Never Came

Ever since I came to Norway, I wanted to get a degree, so I worked towards it. It being in another language and I was starting to deal with my depression. It of course did not go as I planned.

I studied the language to the point where I passed the language test that medical professionals have to pass if they have a foreign language. I had to take the sideway to enter the local university.

The problem was I was studying something I was not really interested in, but was pushed by the ex to do it. That was my first big mistake. Then I was working part time and that income was put aside to pay off the student loans, which luckily was paid off in full when I came to the realisation this was not working.

There were lots of things that were working against me, and it was totally meant to fail. We were trying to get pregnant and it had to be done with ivf since we did not able to do it naturally.

I could not see it back then, but now it is very obvious. I was not mentally able to do it, and I had so many other things that were slowly giving me the trauma that I am paying for now.

I realised once I was pregnant that I had to give it up. I knew it was a loss cause and it was lesson learnt and no regrets will ever change it.
