And boy did it hurt.
So what was my first lesson? That I have a karmic soul-level contract that I had to pay – and boy did I ever.
My first marriage thought me how I can survive even when I was alone and no one around me to help, support or guide me. Through a lense of what was barely an adult, he was my saviour. Someone I thought that would love and care for me. What came next was a long journey of finding myself – my voice and my strength and weakness.
The problem with demons and wolves, they think they an easily break the little girl. What they dont know is what lurks behind the innocent wide eye: is the dragon sleeping.
It was not to wake yet. When it did, it made sure to burn the people that hurt her and to show them I can do it all on my own thank you.
That was my first demon. Not the man I married. The demon was me thinking I needed him to survive.
And when I finally saw that demon for what it was—I started to wake the dragon.
